Love the story turned me big time. I love The beaches in Belize especially secret beach in San Pedro . Reminds me of a similar experience I had in Belize.

Most of the story is good, but you did not do your homework about Los Angeles. While apartment dwellers and renters tend to be from someplace else, most Angelenos who live in single family homes have roots in the Greater Los Angeles area, so for Christmas there is traffic on the freeways from Lancaster down to San Clemente and from Santa Monica to Chino Hills.
Now around the south San Fernando Valley, West LA, Downtown LA, coastal LA South Bay, and the Burbank/Glendale areas surrounding the studios most of the residents are apartment dwellers.
However, in South Central LA, San Pedro, the Inland South Bay cities, the Southeast LA cities, the San Gabriel Valley, and Orange County, people have set down roots with them being second, third, or fourth generation Angelenos and either have family come to them or travel within So Cal to family, whether that be in Santa Monica, Long Beach, Torrance, Downey, Pasadena, Whittier, Anaheim, Huntington Beach or someplace else in the Greater Los Angeles area.
My parents live in Downey and my brothers and sisters travel from Long Beach, La Mirada, Whittier, San Pedro, Buena Park and Irvine to our family home to celebrate Christmas, usually with some Christmas tamales, mole, Mexican rice, re-fried beans, Mexican beer, Mexican Coke in the bottle, guac, and chips. Even though we are Latino, only my dad speaks a lick of Spanish and he grew up in Texas.
