There are people who get off on snuff films and kiddie porn too. Doesn't mean their desires should be fulfilled. (Reductio ad absurdum, not to be taken as a direct comparison)
Here's a thought to chew on. Are real existing or latent rapists satiated, or incited, by reading of their victims desires?
Another thought. Perhaps Trump's modeling agency might be more akin to an art gallery?

Perhaps by describing this chapter as breaking down the author intends to foreshadow the resolution to a driving conflict within Patty. A resolution that represents the opening of a new chapter in her life. It would not be surprising, therefore, to see the author end the narrative here as the story they set out to tell has come to an end.
The tone set in certain passages of this chapter have an undertone that suggests a restlessness with Patty's current lifestyle. A restlessness that appears to be linked to processing traumatic events from her past. The chapter ends with Patty feeling tired even though It's not that late. Under the circumstances it seems quite poignant to end the story with the lines:
Would you come with me for a couple of minutes, to tuck me in? she asked.
I'd love to, I said, meaning every single word.
We all know of Bonnie's early death in previous Virginia stories, however it was difficult reading her POV, since Bonnie alluded to her death throughout the story. I think both both Virginia and Kathy realized that Bonnie was experiencing a difficult time, however respected & loved her totally🎉; therefore, neither one aggressively questioned her regarding the excessive tearing up on several occasions.
It was quite interesting with Bonnie's premonition of death being experienced the form of Dreams-Nausea-Restlessness, since it appears she had not yet received her diagnosis for having Terminal Cancer!
Another Awesome Story From Virginia's World!!
As for everyone else ... life keeps adding on the 'happy' {sarcasm}.
My neurologist decided to prescribe a more powerful tool to manage the pain in my feet. So, he gave me a foot cream. What wasn't obvious was the non-prescribed 'side effects' of the foot cream which included ... (sigh) ...
Well, as my feet have been hurting like sons-a-bitches, I was slathering that cream on three and four times a day. It had minimal positive effect which was leagues ahead of the pain I was going through. Besides, it was foot cream. What was the worse that could happen?
Baclofen (2%) ~ [Lightheadedness or fainting, trouble seeing, severe tiredness, weakness],
Cyclobenzaprine (2%) ~ [Anxiety, restlessness, seeing or hearing things that are not there, severe drowsiness, fainting, or confusion],
Diclofenac (3%) ~ [Sudden or severe headache, or problems with vision, speech, or walking],
Gabapentin (6%) ~ [Behavior problems, aggression, restlessness, trouble concentrating, moodiness (especially in children), problems with coordination, shakiness, unsteadiness, unusual moods, or behaviors, thoughts of hurting yourself, feeling depressed, dizziness, drowsiness, sleepiness, tiredness],
Lidocaine (2%) ~ [which, somewhat stunningly, isn't trying to fuck with my head]
So I've been staggering around in a semi-lucid state for the past several days, unable to figure out why I couldn't do much, if any, writing. It took me complaining to my wife to provide some clarity.
I repeat - it is freaking foot cream!
I've stopped with the foot-crack and am back to dealing with the pain. Hopefully I'll be back to writing soon too.
